I have used Poppies cleaning service for a couple of years. They send the same person each time unless they are on holiday. They are very professional and the house looks very clean and fresh after each visit. The office staff are very helpful if you need to contact them.

Poppies has provided excellent service over some five years of continuous custom. We chose the business when my wife's health declined and I became her 24/7 carer.
After she died, I continued as a customer. The staff have all been understanding, courteous and efficient in what they do. During staff holidays, my holidays and short term periods of scheduling problem there has always been helpful accommodation.
The business treats its staff well, which results in good service to customers. Costs to customers are competitive as far as I am able to judge.

A little story. When my 93 year old mum's fridge was on the blink Lisa was straight on it, took responsibility for sorting out rotten food, and flagged it up to me. Then the manager visited Mum to measure up for a replacement so I could order one. When you live a long way away, that's priceless peace of mind.

I am away from home for periods of time which necessitates changing or cancelling my regular cleaning service and Poppies are always flexible and work with me. I'd deliberated about using Poppies for some time.. for many years I'd had a trusted cleaner.
I finally took the plunge and have absolutely no regrets. Poppies are quite a bit more expensive but I like the fact that the staff are looked after, receive a good salary and all that goes with it, ie holiday/sickness pay. I always did cover this with my previous cleaner but of course had to then do the cleaning myself when she was ill/away. Here my cleaning will still be done.
The team are flexible, responsive and my cleaner Julie is AMAZING. Thanks everyone.

I've been a Poppies customer for quite a while now having had my own cleaner for 16 years. I find it easier this way as I don't have to worry about holiday replacement, ( or holiday pay) and sickness cover as there is always someone to cover.
I have had a few cleaners, my first and current ones were exceptional and I really want to hold onto them although it is great that there is always back up. It is a little expensive, much more than having my own cleaner direct but I do like that the cleaners are paid well, have all that goes with it, holiday pay, sickness pay, pension contributions etc and are well looked after by the business.
Being a business owner myself I understand how difficult it is in current climate to be a 'good employer' but I think Nigel and the team at Poppies are.
I really love 'coming home' on the days my cleaner, Becky has been, she really does make my life much better.

Today and every day I am lucky enough, some 25 years ago, to have been allocated a real gem of a Poppy who has been with us ever since. If I ever move house I shall certainly look for the nearest Poppies office as ours, covering Sheffield, have always been extremely helpful.

I've been using Poppies for my weekly house clean for a couple of years now. I have a regular cleaner who is excellent - charming, efficient and such a hard worker! When my regular cleaner is not available, Poppies never fail to send a replacement, so I have never been left in the lurch.
